For sure the kamerakidz-project lives by the donations of cameras, too. It was very nice to have this year ten different ones so that each child could have each day one and they had the chance to discover a lot of different technical systems (I feel that myself start becoming an expert for small digital cameras, too ;-)). On this photo they are presenting 4 new ones: “Soenke”, “Jutta”, “Gerri” (they “hated” this one as the display doesn’t work and they could never check their photos – but the quality was nevertheless very good) and “Britta”. Today I got an e-mail from my mother telling that a parcel arrived with another new camera – from someone I don’t know. These are the kind of surprises I like very much. Realising that people appriciate our work and supporting it without personal connection. So now we have a new camera called “Laura”, which will travel to India in August. Thanks a lot!

Selbstverständlich lebt das Kamerakidz-Projekt auch von den Kameraspenden. Es war sehr schön, dieses Jahr zehn verschiedene zu haben so dass jedes Kind jeden Tag eine haben konnte und auch die Möglichkeit hatte, viele verschiedene technische Systeme kennenzulernen (Mir scheint, dass ich auch zu einer Expertin für kleine Digitalkameras werde ;-)). Auf diesem Foto präsentieren sie 4 neue: “Soenke”, “Jutta”, “Gerri” (sie “hassten” sie, da der Display kaputt war und sie nie die Fotos gucken konnten – aber die Bilderqualität war nichtsdestotrotz sehr gut) und “Britta”. Heute bekam ich eine E-Mail von meiner Mutter die mir erzählte, dass ein Paket mit noch einer neuen Kamera angekommen sei – von jemanden, den ich nicht kenne. Diese Art Überraschung mag ich sehr gerne. Zu merken, dass Menschen unsere Arbeit wertschätzen und unterstützen ohne eine persönliche Verbindung zu haben. So haben wir jetzt eine neue Kamera namens “Laura”, die im August nach Indien reisen wird. Vielen Dank!
